Canopy Nature Academy is organizing its first ever women-only nature camp at Silent Valley National Park, on September 10 and 11. The two-day all-women camp will include a trek, overnight stay in the jungle, and bird watching among other activities.

The teams will be led by women naturalists from Canopy Nature Academy. Women who are over the age of 18 are eligible to attend this nature camp.

The organizers plan to enrol a maximum of 20 participants for the all-women camp. Cost per head is Rs.3,500, and includes basic camp accommodation, vegetarian food, trek fee, and safari fee. For further information, Canopy Nature Academy can be reached at [email protected]

Canopy Nature Academy focuses on nature education programmes and organises field visits for kids and nature enthusiasts. “We do not promote tourism. Our focus is on promoting nature education through nature camps, treks, and events. In the last two years, we have hosted 35 such events,” Saravanan Chandrasekaran, nature enthusiast and founder of Canopy Nature Academy, says.
