An exclusive designer expo for women, with latest in fashion trends, was inaugurated in Coimbatore today. Jewelleries and accessories made of gold and diamond, will be on display for two days.

’Meena Bazaar,’ a popular concept in Chennai is arriving at Coimbatore for the first time. The exhibition, specially organized for women, is going to be a midnight extravaganza, says Sandeep Mehta, organizer and chairman of the Rajasthan Cosmo Club Foundation, Chennai.

The expo was inaugurated by the Tamil movie ‘Kaaka Muttai’ fame Aishwarya Rajesh, There are over 65 stalls, featuring jewelleries ranging from Rs.8,000 to Rs.20 lakhs. The proceeds from the exhibition will be used for distributing clothes, uniforms and books to the needy.
