Deshpande Foundation has invited applications from youth in the age group of 16-25 for its 14-day ‘LEAD Prayana’ annual leadership journey.

LEAD, Leaders Accelerating Development program conducted by Deshpande’s Foundation, kicks off from Belgaum on January 21, covering eight places, Dharwad/Hubballi, Belagavi, Doddaballapur, Bengaluru, Mysore, Manipal/Udupi and Dharmasthala in Karnataka and Kuppam in Andhra Pradesh. The journey ends on February 4 with an International Conference called “YUVA SUMMIT” at Hubbali, said a press release.

During the journey the participants will meet and hear from 10 inspiring role models, witness their extraordinary work, take part in panel sessions, explore 12 unique organizations, institutions and industries and create their own groups to share their hands-on experiential learning.

LEADers Accelerating Development (LEAD) program aims at unleashing problem-solving and leadership skills through experiential learning among college-going students. LEAD has so far created 26,037 LEADers and has encouraged college students in Karnataka, Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu to execute over 9,000 projects, each addressing a pain point of the community they live or of an industry that interests them, it added.

Interested applicants can register at www.leadcampus.org/leadprayana/ before January 17.
