A painter (an artist) is someone who works on a theme, concept, medium, and displays his work. However, Coimbatore-based artist C.V. Rajan has gone beyond just creating and displaying his work. He has also been teaching the nuance of art for the last 23 years.

Now he has been officially signed in by Art Houz at Jenney Residency to teach children art. Art Houz recently inaugurated their first art club exclusively for kids. This club has been started with the aim of promoting art among children. One of the activities of the club is to host art classes for children. The art club will host art classes for kids between eight to 16 years during the weekends.

Vincent Adaikalraj, Executive Director, Jenney Residency, Coimbatore said at the opening: “The art club aims to conduct various activities and workshops all year round, which will benefit children to think creatively and build their confidence”.

In the inaugural class, students were introduced to drawing and were taught the basics of drawing. He also demonstrated the importance of creating objects using lines and shapes.

For information about art classes, Art Houz, Jenney Residency, can be contacted at 82201-21999.
