The BJP’s Tamil Nadu unit Vice President, Vanati Srinivasan, said today that a separate manifesto will be announced for the Coimbatore-South constituency. The party will tomorrow launch a website to hear the grievances and expectations of the local elected representatives and the general public.

Vanati is here in Coimbatore to chart out the poll campaign strategy with the local office bearers. Speaking to the reporters, she said that the BJP-led government at the centre was fulfilling the aspirations of the youth, and the party will therefore enjoy the support of the new generation of voters.

Expressing confidence in her victory and that of the party’s Singanallur candidate, Nandakumar, she said that top-ranking party leaders, including Narendra Modi and Amit Shah are likely to campaign for the BJP candidates here. The campaign dates will be confirmed later, she said.
