Bosch, PSG Institute of Advance Studies sign MoU

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions (RBEI) and PSG Institute of Advanced Studies, to work together in fields including research, prototype development, and setting up of state-of-the-art laboratories.

In a press release, RBEI Vice President, V. Sri Krishnan said that topics of collaboration will include healthcare, energy and mobility, and energy. RBEI and PSG are already working together on many projects like curriculum designing, and constructing automotive lab. Sri Krishna said that the new MoU on research will be the next step in the industry-academia collaboration.

Dr. P. Radhakrishnan, Director of Nanotech Research Innovation and Incubation Facility of the Institute, said that the MoU was intended to “leverage the synergy of the research capabilities of Institute and the business requirements of RBEI.”

Gopalan Vijendran, India head of the Corporate Research and Technology Centre at Bosch, said that the collaboration will help stimulate research and development activities in engineering, which will lead to region-specific innovation-led product development for Bosch.
