Vital organs like heart, liver, kidney, eyes, bone and skin were harvested yesterday and liver and one kidney were transplanted to the patients in KMCH.

The heart was sent to private hospital at Chennai, one kidney to another private hospital and bone and skin to the third. Her eyes too were given to a city hospital, resulting in a new lease of life to seven patients, it said.
