A Hindu brain dead woman donated her heart to a Muslim gentleman
Happy to announce that we have successfully performed FIRST CADAVER HEART Transplantation in our KG Hospital for a 38 year old man from Gudalur.
The Heart is beating well postoperatively and recipient is under close observation.
The heart was harvested from a brain dead victim in Government Medical College Hospital, Perundurai, Erode. The entire process was initiated at 6 pm on 4th November and surgery was completed today 5th November 2023.
