Complaint against buffaloes for destroying cabbage worth 4 lakh

Ooty: A farmer in Ooty today lodged a complaint with the police against buffaloes for destroying cabbage worth Rs.4 lakhs in his farm, In his complaint lodged with both the town police and the Revenue Officer, the farmer, Sundar, said that 18 buffaloes, belonging to Toda families entered his farm and completely destroyed cabbage in one acre land.
“Since the cabbage prices have gone up, the total loss has been estimated at Rs. 4 lakhs,” he said and sought action against the buffaloes or the owners.
