Cong MLA Vincent gets bail in rape case

Kozhikode: Rape accused Congress legislator M Vincent was granted bail by District Principal Sessions Court on Thursday.
The court directed him not to visit the ward of the housewife who had accused him of raping her twice.
The court also said he should not try to influence or threaten the witnesses.
Police arrested Vincent on July 22 on the basis of a complaint of a housewife that he had raped her twice.
Vincent’s attempt earlier to secure a bail was rejected by the court.
