Constable helps student appear for NEET exams

Coimbatore : A noble gesture of a constable here enabled a student to appear for NEET examinations Sunday.

The constable, P Saravanakumar was on security duty at National Model School when he noticed a student, roaming here and there.

When asked, the student told Saravanakumar that he had not brought his photograph without which he would not be allowed to attend the test, police said.

Sensing his plight, the policeman immediately gave him Rs 40 for taking his photograph.

The student was then able to write the examination. The constable’s noble gesture received wide appreciation from the general public.
