CPI state meet flag taken to Mannargudi venue

Coimbatore : The party flag to be hoisted at the four-day Tamil Nadu State conference of CPI at Mannargudi from tomorrow was taken from here today.
The flag was placed at the Freedom Fighters Memorial at Chinniyampalam and after members paid floral tributes it was taken to Mannargudi by party state treasurer M Arumugam, accompanied by AIYF district secretary V Vasanathakumar and a host of party leaders, a party statement said.
Party general secretary Sudhakara Reddy and senior national leaders D Raja and Narayana were among those to attend the conference.
