Data virtualizations concept through VMware academy can go a long way in preparing the students to work in the IT sector, said Rajesh Nambiar, Regional Manager-Asia Pacific Region, VMware IT Academy and Software, Bengaluru.

VMware IT Academy was inaugurated at Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College in the city recently. In his address to the students Rajesh threw light on the on the change in the global scenario of IT industries and the IT sector.

The faculties in departments of Computer Science, Engineering and information Technology who are working on the domains of virtualization, cloud computing and data analytics pointed out that this new initiative could give them better opportunity to work in these domains with the industries. About 40 students of Computer Science and Engineering and Information Technology have registered for the programme on virtualization to be offered by VMware academy.
