Udhagamandalam : TTV Dhinakaran, the MLA from RK Nagar, said he had no immediate plans to float new political party and would approach the court for the title AIADMK (Amma), which was earlier allotted to his faction.

Though he had several options, including floating a new party, there was no immediate necessity to form one, he told reporters at nearby Kothagiri.

He had already moved the court on the validity of the meeting of general council of the AIADMK, which was pending, and he would seek legal sanction for functioning as AIADMK (Amma).

He said Paneerselvam and Palanisamy were using the name AIADMK and he Two Leaves symbol which was `temporary’, and there were four options, including forming a new party. “If we are barred from using the AIADMK (Amma) title, there is no other way but to float a new party which will be to retrieve the AIADMK and symbol,” he added.

“Once the Government falls, barring OPS, EPS and a few others, all will come and join us,” he added. He blamed the Centre for the confusion in the AIADMK, and said his cell would become active during the test of strength in the Assembly.
