Nearly 30 activists belonging to the Dravida Kazhakam (DK) staged a demonstration in the city today to protest against the NDA Government and its silence over the ‘rising intolerance’ in the country.

The activists, led by DK youth wing secretary, Tamilselvan, demanded that strict action be taken against the persons involved in the lynching incident in Uttar Pradesh, and steps be taken to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.
