Expo of products of SHG women

College students of Coimbatore will get an opportunity to buy handicrafts, ornaments and various products of Self Help Group (SHG) women at a fair to be organized at SNS College of Engineering on August 13 and 14.
According to District Collector Archana Patnaik, the sales cum expo of products manufactured by the SHG members would be organized by the Tamil Nadu Corporation for Development of Women Project Implementation Unit (Mahalir Thittam) in association with SNS College of Engineering.
She said: “The two-day fair will have on display products including artificial ornaments, hand bags, perfumes, toys, dresses, cosmetic products, gifts, drawings and handicrafts. Quality products will be made available at a fair price.”
She urged college students to visit fair and support SHGs by purchasing the products.
