Coimbatore : EVS Group today launched the first EVS Clinic and Pharmacy in the city today, the first to be opened in Tamil Nadu under Pradhan Mantri Bharatiya Jan Aushadhi Kendra scheme.

The Clinic in Siddapudur, will provide treatment to patients at Rs.50 and has 6 doctors with Specializations – Pediatric, General Physician, Neurologist, ENT, Diabetes, DGO, Ortho and Cardiac and function from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm and 4:30 pm to 9:30 pm, a release said.

The clinic has tie-up with other hospitals nearby for other facilities like scan and X-ray and has a Jan Aushadhi store attached in which medicines with Generic name at affordable prices are provided.

EVS Clinic will help the common man get healthcare at affordable prices. Each clinic is set up with an Investment of Rs.50 lakh and the group plans to open another four clinics in Thudiyallur, Rathinapuri , Singanallur in the city and Pollachi in the next 3 months, EVS Group Chairman and Managing Director E V Shiril said in the release.”

The Group also deals with Jan Aushadhi Medical stores, having 25 stores operational and 40 more are getting ready for launch, he said, adding it also started works on EVS Health City a 550-bed Multi Specialty Hospital at Navakkrai on the outskirts.
