Fog in Coimbatore delays Chennai flight by two hours

Heavy fog in the city airport delayed the arrival of an Indigo flight from Chennai by nearly two hours today.The flight which was to land at the airport around 7.30 am, returned to Chennai owing to heavy fog on the runway.
It later landed here around 9:30 am.Even vehicular traffic on the busy Avanashi Road near the airport was disrupted due to the fog, police said.
