Former MLA N.S. Palanisamy died today at a private hospital in Coimbatore, after a brief illness. He was 73.
He was undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Sulur, on the outskirts, and passed away early today.
Palanisamy had won from Kinathukadavu assembly constituency in 1991 as the AIADMK candidate. He was also the president of Non-political Farmers’ Association of Tamil Nadu.
