Leopard kills cow grazing on college campus

Close on the heels of devouring a calf yesterday, a leopard on prowl in Valparai, today killed a cow on Government Arts College premises.
The cow was grazing in the campus, when the leopard attacked. After eating some portion of the meat, it left to the jungles, police said.
Earlier the leopard had killed and eaten a three-year old calf, which was grazing near a house of estate workers. Forest Department officials are on the job.
