LIC Coimbatore records 5 per cent y-o-y growth

LIC Coimbatore Division has completed over 1.85 lakh policies earning an income of Rs.268.26 crore during the financial year 2014-15, thus registering a five per cent year-on-year growth for the fifth consecutive year. This was told to the media by M. Ravikumar, Senior Divisional Manager of LIC.

The Coimbatore division consists of four districts and 26 branches. The number of active policies as on March 2015, stood at nearly 23 lakhs, with a sum assured of Rs.33,598 crore.

Another accomplishment was the fact that in its 59 years, the Coimbatore division had, as on March 31, settled hundred per cent claims, with zero outstanding.
