Lions Club of Coimbatore feeds old age home inmates

Lions Club of Coimbatore Jupiter organized a lunch feast to address and abolish poverty at Coimbatore District Welfare Association Old Age Home in Mathapatti Madhipalayam area of Coimbatore to celebrate the 42nd wedding anniversary of Arima K Visa and Ragini Kesha. It was sponsored by Shri Harshit K Shah. This was the 326th day called as ‘Pasippini Pokkum Naal’ which translates to ‘Day to abolish hunger due to poverty’.

The event was graced by the District Governor, Arima John Peter, as the special guest. Second Deputy District Governor Arima Dhinakaran and Lions Club of Coimbatore KR Puram Secretary Arima Subha N Subramanian were present as special invitees and congratulated Arima K Shah and Ragini K Shah on their 42nd wedding anniversary and celebrated by cutting a cake.

Subsequently, lunch was served to more than 30 elderly people at the old age care home in the 326th Day Hunger Eradication Program. Murali, Seeja Murali, Dharani, Krishnamurthy, and many other Arima administrators participated in it.
