LogixHealth to begin operations from Dec in city

LogixHealth Private Ltd, a revenue cycle management services provider, would begin its operations in the City in the first week of December.

Entering Coimbatore was in line with the growth of business of Company, which was close to 10 million coding and billing jobs, senior vice-president (operations) of LogixHealth Private Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of LogixHealth Inc, USA, Peter Coakley, told reporters here today.

The company, which started its India operations in 2013, in Bengaluru, now with two offices, is growing 20 to 30 per cent year on year, Coakley, here to see the works of the new facility in Saravanampatti, said.

The company is investing $15 million during the initial phase for this 50,000 sq feet facility and would hire and train another 1,000 people, from the present 800, which would increase to 2,000 by 2017, he said.

Stating that the company was into coding and billing solutions for physicians and hospitals in the US, offering a range of solutions from coding to claims management, Coakley said “we are looking to hire and train Science graduates for our voice-based and non-voice services.”

Asked about business from India, the company associate vice-president, Muralimohan, said that close to 30 per cent is from India and of this the company expected to generate 30 per cent from Coimbatore.
