A sessions court in Coimbatore today sentenced a man to undergo life sentence for murdering his homosexual partner four years ago.

According to the prosecution, 34-year-old Senthil Kumar had developed intimacy with 50-year-old Sasikumar, leading to a homosexual relationship between the two, a few years ago.

On August 15, 2012, both had gone to a lonely place on the outskirts, and after their usual act, Senthil Kumar killed Sasikumar with lethal weapons. Police arrested Senthil Kumar a few days later, and the case was going on in Additional Sessions Court.

The judge, M. Christopher, awarded life sentence to Senthil Kumar.
