Miscreants break open house, decamp with jewellery

Miscreants broke open into a house and decamped with jewellery worth Rs. 1.74 lakhs in Alandurai Pudur a few days ago.

According to police, Ganesan N, residing at GK Islam, went out town along with his family on December 29. The same day, his father-in-law came to the house and was shocked to see the front door of the house broke open.
The miscreants had also broke open the cupboard and taken away jewellery worth Rs. 1.74 lakhs.

Ganesan, who returned home on Monday, lodged a complaint with the Alandurai police, who have registered a case and are investigating under Sections 454 and 380 of IPC.
