Nephroplus, one of the largest dialysis service providers in the country, has launched its dialysis centre in Coimbatore at KG Hospital. The centre will initially have ten beds, which will be later increased to 15, according to Sandeep Gudibanda, co-founder and Director of Business Development at Nephroplus.

Gudibanda said that there were only 90 dialysis centres in Tamil Nadu that serve 4,250 patients each day, but around 40,000 patients need dialysis support in the state. The company has plans to add 18 new dialysis centres to its already functioning 68 centres all over the country.

The newly opened centre will provide its dialysis service for Rs.1,450. G. Bhakthavatsalam, Chairman of KG Hospital, said that in addition to regular dialysis, the centre will also provide dialysis modalities like peritoneal dialysis, nocturnal dialysis, and home dialysis.
