NGO to announce Entrepreneur of the Year awards on Friday

Entrepreneurs’ Organization, the Coimbatore-based NGO, will announce the winners of the fourth annual Entrepreneur of the Year award on Friday.
Talking to the media, Rajesh, the president of Entrepreneurs’ Organization said that more than 100 entrepreneurs have been nominated in three categories. “We are going to give away awards on three categories – Established Entrepreneur, Emerging Entrepreneur, and Woman Entrepreneur of the year,” he said.
He added that the awards were categorized based on trust and respect; thirst for learning; making a mark; boldness, and being cool. 15 businesswomen are competing this year for the woman entrepreneur categories.
Sanjana, one of the Chairpersons of the organization said, “We have selected Coimbatore because Coimbatore is the Mecca of entrepreneurs. The city has a very good potential for entrepreneurial developments and we are hoping to help emerging entrepreneurs here.”
