Panic strikes village as mysterious animals kill goats

Panic struck a village near Periyanaickenpalayam, on the outskirts of Coimbatore, following the killing of some goats by unknown animals.
The villagers of Kamatchipuram woke up to see the carcasses of a few goats lying in a pool of blood, with some of its parts devoured. Fearing that some wild animal might have entered the village, the villagers have lodged a complaint with forest department officials.
Investigations are on.
