Plea to regulate educational institutions

The 17th Coimbatore District Conference of the Indian Democratic Youth Committee, held here on Saturday, condemned the proposed move to make Avinashilingam University a self-financing one.
It was also resolved to demand the District Education Department to ensure that all educational institutions adhered to the Government norms. This would help parents from having to pay excess fee.
The conference was chaired by District Leader S. Manikandan.
