The District Administration has invited applications from ex-servicemen families, where children have become district toppers in the Plus-Two examination for the academic year 2014-15. This is to reward them for cash awards.

According to a release from District Collector Archana Patnaik district toppers from ex-servicemen families would be given a cash award of Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 3,000 respectively for first and second highest marks. A recommendation would also be made for providing Rs. 10,000 to the state level topper.
