Rs. 10 coin: Accept or face action, Collector warns traders

The district administration today warned the traders of stringent action if they refused to accept Rs.10 coin from customers.
As per the direction, Rs.10 coins are legally valid and general public can give it to trader for purchasing without any hesitation, the District Collector, T.N. Hariharan, said in a release.
The warning was issued based on the complaints from large number of people in the last few days, he said.
