Rs.37.5 lakh seized from vehicle

Coimbatore : The election flying squad Wednesday seized Rs 37.5 lakh from a car belonging to a private security agency in the city a during vehicle check.
Though the inmates claimed that the cash was being taken to be deposited in an ATM, the officials seized the money in the absence of valid documents.
The cash was deposited in the treasury. As and as and when the documents are produced, it will be released to them, police said.
