Salzer net profit up by 44 per cent

Salzer Electronics Ltd, a leading player offering total and customised electrical solutions, has registered a net profit of Rs. 4.6 crore in the second quarter of this fiscal, ending September 30.

There was an increase of 44 per cent recorded in the second quarter of the financial year 2015, a company release said today.

Revenue from operations was Rs. 80.9 crore in the second quarter this year, as against Rs.67.8 crore in the corresponding previous period, a year on year (yoy) growth of 19 per cent, it said.

Exports contributed to 23 per cent of revenues. For the half year ended September 30, 2015, the revenue from operations stood at Rs.172 crore as against Rs.136.5 crore in the corresponding previous period, a YoY growth of 26 per cent.

The exports contributed to 24 per cent of revenues. The company reported Earnings Per Share at Rs. 7.16 in H2FY16 as compared to Rs. 6.23 in H1FY15, yoy increase of 15.5 per cent.
