Selection trials for TN national fencing team

The selection trials for the Tamil Nadu fencing team under three categories each, for men and women, will be conducted on October 31 and November 1 here.
The Fencing Association of India (FAI) is conducting the selection trials for choosing the Tamil Nadu fencing team in the category of Under 20 (Junior), Under 23 and Senior to participate in the National Fencing Championship scheduled later this year.
The trials will be held at the Asian College of Engineering and Technology, Kondayampalayam, FAI nominee Dr V Albert Prem Kumar said.
While the Junior National Fencing Championship will be held at Manipur from November 12 to 15, the Under 23 National will be held at New Delhi in December and Senior National Fencing Championship at Raipur from December 20 to 23.
Trails will be conducted by an NIS coach appointed by FAI, said Prem Kumar.
