“SMART TAILOR PROJECT” LAUNCHED BY ROTARY COIMBATORE SMARTCITY

Rotary Club of Coimbatore SmartCity launches tailoring unit SMART TAILOR at Tholampalayam Kaaramadai on 19th December 2023, Tuesday.
It is a vocational and skill training center under SMILE Theme of the RID 3201 for tribal ladies and it will include training of 50 tribal women to learn stitching and other tailoring techniques so that they become self sufficient and self employed.
Training Centre with 20 tailoring machines worth Rs. 1,15,000 to empower underprivileged women. The trainer fees of Rs. 8000/- per month costing to Rs. 96000, would also be sponsored by Rotary Club of Coimbatore Smartcity.
The event was held in presence of Chief Guest District Director RID 3201 Rtn. S Gokulraj, Guest of Honor Assistant Governor RID 3201 Rtn S Venkat, President Rtn. Dr. Rohini Sharma, Secretary Rtn. PHF Murtuza Raja and executed under guidance of District priority project chair Rtn. PHF Rajesh Nanda. The project is in collaboration with Chinmaya organization for rural development, the team is led by Dr. Meera and Rotary club of coimbatore Smartcity members Rtn. Jayshree Kota, Rtn. Shweta Gupta, Rtn. Rashida Raja & Rtn Suja Arun were present during the launch of project.
