Special trains between Chengalpattu and Coimbatore for festive rush

Southern Railway has announced a tri-weekly special train between Chengalpattu and Coimbatore in order to handle the festive rush during Christmas, New Year and Pongal.
According to a Southern Railway press release, train No.06144 will run from Coimbatore to Chengalpattu. The train will leave Coimbatore at 10.50 PM on December 3, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 27, 29, and 31 and January 3, 5, 7, 10 12, 14, 17, 19, and 21. It will reach Chengalpattu at 8 A.M the next day.
The pairing train (06145), to run from Chengalpattu to Coimbatore, will start at 5 p.m. on December 4, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 18, 21, 23, 25, 28 and 30 and January 1, 4, 6, 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 20 and 22 and reach Coimbatore at 2.30 AM the next day.
The trains will stop at Somanur, Tirupur, Erode, karur, Tiruchi, Viruddhachalam, Villupuram, and Melmaruvathur. Advance reservations have started already.
