The curtain raiser for the third edition of Mr. and Ms. Coimbatore was held at Fun Mall recently.

“Through this event we are providing a platform to young people who aspire to become models. Encouraged by the first two seasons, we are back with our third season and this one is bigger and better,” S. Manoj, organiser, says.

The contest is open to men and women who are above 18. Those who register for this contest will have to go through auditions, which are scheduled to take place on November 21.

The organizers of this event will select the best 10 participants from each category. Those who clear the auditions will be groomed and trained to walk the ramp. Organizers will also create a portfolio for the 20 selected contestants.

The 20 shortlisted participants will be given a chance to walk the ramp in the grand finale of Mr. and Ms. Coimbatore that is scheduled to take place on December 19. Venue for this event is Hotel Vijay Elanza.

On the grand finale the selected 20 contestants will walk the ramp in apparels that are sponsored by the main and co-sponsor. They will also participate in the question and answer round, and a talent round.

The winner in each category will be crowned Mr. and Ms. Coimbatore respectively. For registration, contact 97877-12344.
