Three arrested for harassing girl

Three youths were arrested for allegedly harassing a Standard X girl in Karamadai in the district, today.
According to police, one Vishwanathan of Velliyankadu had approached the girl to express his love, when she spurned him.
Furious over her behaviour, Vishwanathan, took help of his three friends to tease and threaten the girl. Following this, the girl’s parents lodged a complaint with the local police, they said.
Police registered cases against the youth under atrocities against women and eve teasing and arrested three, including Vishwanathan. Further investigations are on, they said.
