Three surrender in murder case, remanded

Three persons, allegedly involved in the murder of a real estate businessman in Palayamkottai on January 5, surrendered before a judicial Magistrate court here on Tuesday.
According to police, three motorbike-borne men waylaid and hacked Murugan to death and sped away from the spot. As investigation was on, three persons – Sabari, Manikandan and Balasubramanian – surrendered before Second Judicial Magistrate Rajkumar here in the evening.
The magistrate ordered their remand for 14 days in judicial custody and to produce before the court on January 23.
