Two killed in motor cycle collision

Two persons were killed in a motorcycle collision last night near Sirumugai in the rural limits, police said today.
A 17-year-old contract labourer, Ramesh was returning home to Annur from Sirumugai,
on his two-wheeler, when another motorcyclist, Ramanan (22), coming from the opposite direction collided head on with the former. This resulted in the instant death of Ramanan. The incident happened around 10 p.m.
Ramesh and Prabhu, riding pillion with Ramanan, were brought to the Government Hospital here. However, Ramesh died, and Prabhu, with minor injuries is under treatment.
