A 24-year-old man was arrested for impregnating a 16-year-old girl on the pretext of marriage.
The young man, Kirtiraj, befriended the girl, and, on the promise of marriage, had sex with her on multiple occasions. The girl became pregnant. When her mother and relatives confronted him, he verbally abused them and sent them away.
The girl’s mother filed a complaint at the All Woman Police Station. Kirtiraj was arrested and cases were registered against him under various sections.
