It was revealed a few days ago that Amala Paul is playing a forensic expert in the upcoming film Cadaver. The latest development is that she is bankrolling the project as well. In an interview to the Deccan Chronicle,“Cadaver means a dead human body that is used by medical students, physicians and other scientists to study anatomy, identify disease sites, determine causes of death, and provide tissue to repair a defect in a living human being. I am essaying a pathologist, a character totally new to me. Even as I listened to the entire narration, I was worried as how to crack this challenging role. And if you notice most of the real life forensic department heads would be around 35 to 40 years and wanted to prepare properly for the matured character.”

Anoop Panicker is directing this film with Abhilash Pillai in charge of the scripting. Reports are that the film is based on some real life investigative cases. Amala Paul has done a lot of research to get into the skin of the character and had trained under a pathologist. Judging by how much she has prepared herself for the role and bankrolling it as well, we can expect Cadaver to be a surefire success.
