Most of you would have known about ‘Avengers: The End Game’ which broke all the world record collections last year. In case, you didn’t, you must have been living under a rock. The film was directed by Joe Russo and Anthony Russo. The brothers had directed Marvel’s major blockbusters, such as Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, and Avengers: Infinity War. They will next direct ‘The Gray Man’ for Netflix.

The first novel of the same name was published in 2009 by Mark Greaney. The Russo brothers were interested in making this novel into an action film for some time. For this, they worked hand in hand with Sony to look after the first phase of work. Netflix later took up the project a few months ago with Sony being out of the same.

A few days ago, Netflix had announced that the film would star Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans and Ana De Armas in the lead roles. Now, Netflix has announced that a larger star cast is currently in place. Our own Dhanush joins the leading Hollywood stars in this film. It is not yet clear what role Dhanush will play and how important it would be.

They will be joined by Jessica Henwick, who starred in the Game of Thrones series, Wagner Moura, who starred in the Narcos series, and Julia Butters, the child star who starred in ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’.
