Director balaji mohan updated moments ago that his upcoming sequel film Maari 2 will be a Tamil -Telugu bilingual and that it will be shot in both the languages separately. He was also mentioned that he will be announcing the leading lady later today.
Maari 2 is a sequel to 2015’s gangster comedy Maari and will be produced by Dhanush’s home banner Wunderbar Films. Actor Tovino Thomas who has collaborated with Dhanush in two malayalam films tharangam and Maradona, will be playing the antagonist in this film.
