New Delhi: After the successful first two instalments of action comedy flick ‘Welcome’, the makers are all set to come up with the third instalment of the hit series. A Times of India report said that ‘Welcome 3’ is expected to go on floors by next year.

The report stated the shooting will take place at Ground Zero in New York. Locations are also being finalised in Tokyo and Osaka.

While the film will have Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar and Paresh Rawal reprising their roles from the previous editions, new actors will be roped in to play the lead. Also, the first two instalments were directed by Anees Bazmee, but the third edition will apparently have a new director on the board.

In addition, while the first two instalments focused more on comedy, it would not be the case with the third. Reports stated that ‘Welcome 3’ will have action sequence at par with comedy.

While the first instalment featured a large ensemble cast Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Mallika Sherawat and Feroz Khan and was released in 2007. ‘Welcome Back’ cast included John Abraham, Shruti Haasan, Naseeruddin Shah and Dimple Kapadia and was released in 2015.
