Kerala HC quashes case against Sen Kumar

KOCHI: The Kerala High Court on Friday quashed a case filed against former DGP T.P. Sen Kumar for allegedly producing fake medical certificates to draw his salary.
The court said the registration of case was against the law. “The case is illegal,” the bench said, while hearing a petition filed by the former DGP who pleaded the court to quash the case.
The case was registered by Thiruvananthapuram Museum Police Station under non-bailable sections. The Chief Secretary had asked the police to register the case on the basis of the Vigilance report.
The case pertains to Sen Kumar producing medical certificates to draw full salary for a few months during his leave period. Senkumar was under treatment for some months in 2016.
