Car festival held

A large number of people, mostly members of the Toda community, participated in the car festival of Sri Bhavaniswar temple here on Wednesday.
Attired in their traditional dress, the members pulled the chariot that passed through Ooty Central Bus Stand, main bazaar area, Mariamman temple, Commercial Street, Venugopalaswamy temple, Clock Tower, lower bazaar and Subramaniya Swamy temple before reaching the Bhavaniswar temple.
