Flying snake captured in Ooty

A flying snake was captured near the panchayat office here on Monday. According to sources, passersby noticed the rare breed of snake on the road side near the panchayat office and alerted the forest officials, who rushed to the spot and captured it. The flying snake, it has been learnt, belongs to a rare breed and lives in land areas 500 metres above the sea level. It is slightly poisonous one, said an official.
