Manjudala residents demand reduction of property tax

Residents of Manjudala village on Wednesday staged a demonstration in front of the Cantonment office in Wellington near Coonoor demanding reduction of property tax. According to sources, seven wards come under the Cantonment. Revenue collected through property tax is mostly spent on development works.
