As the jumbos bid an emotional farewell

As the 48-day Elephant Rejuvenation camp at Thekkampatti came to an end, it has become difficult for the mahouts and elephants to go their ways as they have formed a deep bonding. Temple elephants from several districts spent quality time at the camp and got rejuvenated with the help of dedicated mahouts. The mahouts too got a chance to meet their friends and rejuvenate themselves. With elections around the corner will this camp happen next year too is the question in many people’s minds ? Will their bond get another chance to get stronger?
